After about two months of attempting to finish this thai movie, I finally made it! Just this morning, November 20 at around 5:20, I was able to finish watching the movie. I had the hardest time finishing it because I always got bored. The movie was actually kind of fine for me. I just didn't like the part when I still had to read the subtitle just for me to understand the movie. For me, it was an extra effort. I think that took me so long to finish watching the entire movie. :)

So it was about two male friends. One was a good guy, intelligent, polite and obedient and the other was a bad one who liked to play balls and bully other pupils. They weren't friends at first not until a teacher asked the intelligent one (Jonathan) to befriend the bully guy (Shane) to see if that would help Shane with his behavioral problem.

The set up worked. Both was able to proceed until college. Aside from that, they became very good friends - best friends. But in the process, Jonathen felt something different for Shane. He felt more than just the feeling of friendship. He felt in love with his best friend. That's something he knew was not right to begin with and something that he couldn't tell Shane about and definitely made him uncomfortable with everything.

Jonathan hooked up with a girl who he met in a school organization. But sad to say, she's not his thing. The girl then found out that Jonathan was in love with his best friend. The girl in the long run hooked up with Shane. JOnathan found this out and he decided to end up the relationship that he had with Shane just so that he could move on.

It was very hard for the three of them. Shane wants to keep both special people in his life but sad to say, one cannot afford to do so. He had to lose one of them.

Jonathan finally told Shane about his secret and the reason why he wanted to get away with Shane. After that, Shane told Jonathan that he knew from the very start that the friendship Jonathan offered to Shane was planned and not really intended. He told Shane that he tried to bully Jonathan for that but he couldn't afford to do it. That's because even though the friendship was just a set up, he considered Jonathan as A FRIEND WHO WOULD UNDERSTAND HIM. HIS BEST FRIEND WHO HE CAN SHARE PART OF HIS LIFE WITH. That was the moment that Shane seemed to say to Jonathan that he will always remain to be Jonathan's bestfriend even though Jonathan would turn his back and even though he knew that Jonathan was a gay.

For me that is a message of acceptance. A message that tells us that in this world, someone like a heterosexual would accept us for who we are. Some of them would respect us not because they can get something from us but because they saw in us our worth.

In our life, we get to find someone who we can consider our best friend or partner in life. Love might develop but in the event love is not possible for both of you, the most important thing that we need to think of is the fact that even though you're not together as lovers or boyfriends/girlfriends, you have each other as partners or best friends. That's more than enough. You have each other's arms to support both of you in times you need each other the most.
