The mere fact that everything's moving or the mere fact that there's life just means that God really exists. I think it has been already cleared out in almost all of our religion subjects. It might be called Allah or whatever... it's the same Person or same SOMEONE that we're worshiping with -- IT'S THE FORCE THAT MADE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE NOT ONLY HERE ON EARTH BUT IN THE WHOLE OF THE UNIVERSE IN GENERAL.
Atheists might have misunderstood the concept of God that's why they have the hardest time believing in his existence. Roman Catholic seemed to give God a picture of a Human being which Atheists cannot in any way accept. Because for them, a human being cannot be considered as God. God is neither a mythical creature or a Human Being. It has been pictured out that way just for Humans to satisfy their imagination as to who or what made everything here on earth possible. But even if he's pictured out like that doesn't mean that he's already a part of human's imagination. The picture might be just an imagination but the concept of God is not since THERE IS REALLY A FORCE THAT MAKES US LIVE.
Just for me to prove my point, WHY WON'T YOU EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY WE HAVE A HEART THAT BEATS... WHAT MAKES IT BEATING... WHY OUR BODY IS DESIGNED THIS WAY... WHY DO WE HAVE TO DRINK... WHAT MAKES US DO ALL THESE THINGS? If you can answer that concretely and if you can answer that without someone having to answer that with another WHAT'S AND WHY'S then you can be right in saying that GOD DOESN'T EXIST AT ALL.
THERE'S A FORCE -- YOU CAN CALL IT WHATEVER YOU WANNA CALL IT... BUT IT IS WHAT WE USUALLY CALL GOD!
This is the reply that I posted in a thread discussing about God's existence in ADDU's webforum.

If you equate GOD and LIFE. Then you must agree with me that it is a MYSTERY. Im reading Paulo Coelho's BRIDA and this is what it says:
99 percent of the people on this planet are, in their own way of struggling with the very question. WHY ARE WE HERE? Many think they/ve found teh answer in religion and materialism. Other's despair and spend their lives and their money trying to grasp the meaning of it all. However, the true possible answer of it is, WE DON'T KNOW/
IAs agreed upon, God, the creator of life, is indeed a mystery. And we should continue to discover it. The essence of human existence is finding the Ultimate Reality. It is in the process of finding and dicovering that we encounter the values in life.
I've read the book BRIDA as well, it says there that bridge is the way to connect the visible and invisible world. It means that people's question about God is normal since people are people and we are all human beings who asks and seeks answers to our questions. But how about the invisible world? it means that it is the only way that we could connect to our whatsoever called GOD. Of course God exist but for me God is invisible but can be felt spiritually. I cannot even picture out what my God looks like coz i dont believe that God is the guy we usually praise. I have my own understand of what is God and who is he for me. It all depends on the person itself to identify his or her own God coz humans have this limitation of intelligence, its normal to ask question if God really exist. Try to read the book entitle KNOW WHY YOU BELIEVE.
i mean "I have my own understanding" sorry wrong typed
Kakatuwa! Il try to look for that book. I agree! We all have our OWN God! However, as i said, God is unknowable, the desire to know God can be shown to exist. While this desire is, admittedly, a human impulse, it is also an impulse that is not related to the limited range of human existence. There are other, seemingly unrealizable, goals to which humanity aspires. But love, peace, justice, knowledge and others like them are clearly related to the limited human sphere. The desire to know God might, in order to distinguish it from these desires, be called a transcendent impulse. It is only the existence of this impulse that even hints at the existence of God.
argument from design, people are not design based by what God has given however we learn to somehow adopt.. thats why we have a heart.. etc2
Hello, Kit! I agree that God exists. I see, feel and experience God everyday of my life. You know what, i came to a point where i needed to lose my faith in order to find it. God exists. That's it. Regards to your God and everyone!
me too i agree that GOD exixt!!!
The question of God's existence has stirred so many thinkers. Dating from Plato's idea of the Demiurge down to our contemporary Philosopher's individual effort to prove or nullify His presence. Many have attempted to prove that he exists creating legion of followers while there are a few brave souls who objected this notion. The former includes Aquinas with his 5 ways, we also have Anselm with his ontological argument. In contrast, we have Marx saying that religion is the opium of the people and Nietszche who said that we must surpass our present state as human beings and fulfill our ultimate potential as a "superman" - that is without a God. These school of thoughts have ran a long way to history but we never really can tell as to which side holds the best argument or better yet, the truth. Its too early to prove that God exists nor claim otherwise. How about we wait? hehehehehe
PS.
There's so much to Atheism than what you have pointed out in your post. Trust me! True to its belief, Atheists seem to have lived and probably will live this earthly life with more contentment than religious hoaxes. Yay to Atheists! hahahahahaha.....
and ow...nice post! you stirred my 6-months inactive organ called BRAIN.
Is the brain an organ? heck! punta na akong SM Makati, bibili pa ako ng bag. wahahahahaha..p*ta** i** tong katabi ko sa cubicle, sabi niya sa amerkanong kachat niya - "where did you went?" hayop amp***. MAKA-ALIS NA NGA!
---Sounds too philosophical, I’ll try to contribute with what I know. The question of God I actually a question of faith, meaning that this question is actually subjective in nature. Objectively, our main existence remains to be theoretical thus these theories cannot really answer that very question: Where did we come from? Much more the complexity of “does god exist?” However one thing is certain “there is always a creator of an existing entity”… argument I don’t know if you understand this as how I interpret this eg. A domino will not be pushed if there is not motion involve… =)
*ahem*
yaya, i have no comments. LOL
hagu na! basta akong point..I HAVE MY OWN GOD. Different from your own.
God exists...:)
blame it to my four-year course! hahahahahaa....:)
I've just actually finished reading Paulo Coelho's BRIDA after weeks and weeks and weeks. As far as my understanding is concerned, it generally talks about finding the essence of our existence. It's about answering the question: WHO WE ARE, WHAT MADE US AND WHY WE BECOME THE WAY WE ARE... The question about God's existence on that book can be best answered with Brida's thought about the Dark Night of Faith. It's telling us that we always believe on the existence of something that doesn't seem to exist. It's what we call faith. And it's faith that keeps us going. It's faith that guides us to our path. How we live our life depends on what our faith dictates. It's the thing that made our life worth living. God is faith. God is what made us. You're right when you said that our existence lies on our ultimate search for reality. Mysterious indeed.
HI... Thanks for the comment. I'll see if I can find the book KNOW WHY YOU BELIEVE. It must be so interesting. You're right as well in telling us that God is not the usual God that we know of. It's THE SOMEONE who will complete us a person and who will give meaning to our existence. One cannot hold the truth regarding God. Not even a religion can say, their god is the real one. So, there's actually no point of us fighting and killing for a faith that ALL OF US ACTUALLY SHARE!

WHY DO YOU THINK WE'RE DESIGNED THIS WAY? Why do we have the capability to adapt to our environment? What and who makes it possible? Answer! hehehe
Unsay argument from design dai... sorry for my ignorance.
Sometimes, we all have to know or experience how it is to lose before we can even realize the importance of something that we're holding on... :)
That's good to hear! Keep it up!
Ahm... we really don't need to wait for an answer that will prove God's existence. If we do, then that will take us forever. And forever is not enough. chos. hehehe... we just have to live life whatever we want it to be lived. by the way, thanks for the input. it brings me back to the tagalized philosophy of religion i had during college (hi to sir tomacruz). you're right when you said that nobody holds the best argument with regards to the truth of his existence or the truth about life in general. There is a truth behind everything but the ultimate of it, the truth about how everything started, is something that nobody can claim they hold the truth of it.
ikaw gud yot... padayon sa pag uswag. hehehe
EXPLAIN!!!
hahaha... congratz diay clinton sa imohang new bag! very yellow green. i like it!
AGNOSTICISM rocks!
shame!.. I thought you were 98 in your Phil 106... read the Paley's argument of design the watch and the watchmaker... its a teleological arguement he gave out some convincing facts pragmatic in nature...
ikaw baya una nag mugna-mugna og mga Does God exist na motions huh? chaka
of course...
God is has nothing greater to be conceived... Did that sound right... basta un!
it was supposed to be a 100 pero for some reason, gi minusan niya ug two thus the 98. hahaha... anyways... intelligent people don't have the monopoly of knowledge. they also have their own share of ignorance. that might explain the reason why our teacher didnt give me a hundred. for giving me such would mean i already know everything when there are still things that i have to learn and know.
Better than just gibberish arguments ryt? *evil laugh*
kaw gud dai
I truly believe in God, kittie!!!!
i hope you could share us your insight about God Maya. I really love to discuss about God and Religion. echos. hehehe...
